We are currently working with Beijing Doquick Engineering on the development of a simulation platform for North China University of Technology. The simulation platform aims to use the OpenStreet Map as the web-based interface to display simulation/modeling results from different levels of modeling tools, including macro (TransCAD), Meso (DynaChina), Micro (Paramics and Synchro). For each modeling/simulation software, plugins and interface program will be developed accordingly. The study site is the Wangjing area in Beijing.
According to Dr. Li Wang, Dean of Colleage of Electrical and Control Engineering, the simulation platform will significantly enhance the simulation capabilities of Beijing Key Laboratory on Urban Traffic Control Technology and the education of the traffic courses of the university.
